I have been researching online appointment booking software, websites, services, etc.
I thought I might use StorVantage.com because it's 19.99/month. But the data entry I mananged to do was a painful and there is no report to show me what I entered.
Also, the reporting feature as a whole is really lame and over the last year they haven't really improved it. I think I want the reporting more than anything. One other problem is that the feature to schedule via a smart phone is still in the testing phase.
I have recently found AppointmentsPlus but the pricing is much higher - 49.99/month or 79.99/month. Also, the feature to schedule by smart phone is still in the testing phase.
Since I make house calls, allowing clients to make their own appointments online is kind of risky too. I would have to limit the clients to certain days or times based on the neighborhoods they live in.
I think what I really need is the reporting. I want to see if I can download my appointments from my gmail calendar to an excel spreadsheet and then report off or it or use some macros to see what I need to see. Basically, I want a quick list of which dogs need to be groomed. So a list of clients based on the last date I groomed their dog and the amount of time the client usually waits between grooms.

About the Website Again
A long time has passed again but I've got a new found interest in the blog world.
The latest status on the website is that I got everything sorted out with transferring the domain to the new web hosting service, and I got a second domain name - maltesegroomingnyc.com ( breed specific ) in addition to my original gooddoggroomer.com
Currently they are the same website but I thought maybe I'd get more traffic with the two domain names.
I haven't changed the website much - a few changes here and there. A hand stripping page, some more photos and testimonials, a before and after page, a change in service area.
I've been thinking about a major overhaul but the site has been working for me, as is, for a long time now.
